Scan and verify the microchip at each treatment/test/examination visit and record it consistently. Use government/government-approved veterinarians; test in an Australian-government-recognized ISO-accredited laboratory and attach the identifying report.

For the selected resident-dog pathway, a government-approved veterinarian gives topical contact-killing protection against ticks, lice and fleas for at least forty-five days immediately before export and continuously until export, following manufacturer dosing.

Within fifty days before export, a government-approved veterinarian treats twice against nematodes/cestodes at least fourteen days apart, with the second within five days before export. The recent Australian-quarantine exemption is a different branch, not a blanket waiver.

Within twenty days before export, examine for ectoparasites and sample for Ehrlichia canis IgG IFAT, negative at 1:40. A viable tick requires restarting external preparation and postponing blood collection at least twenty-one days until examination finds no viable ticks.

Send as manifested air cargo under applicable welfare/IATA standards. Notify departure date/flight at least one working day before embarkation. Published transshipment is limited to Australia, NZ or New Caledonia, remaining crated inside the airport without contact with uncertified animals.
