Carry a health certificate for the accompanying dog or cat. At Mandalay (MDL), present a certificate no more than seven days old at the Airport Government Animal Quarantine Office for inspection on arrival. Yangon (RGN) also requires a health certificate but its guide gives no maximum certificate age; do not apply MDL’s seven-day limit to RGN. The guides do not establish a common certificate format, endorsement procedure or permission exemption.

Yangon (RGN): the dog/cat health certificate must confirm rabies vaccination at least one month before the arrival date. Mandalay (MDL): the pet must have been vaccinated against rabies at least 30 days before arrival. Preserve these airport-specific units; one month is not automatically a fixed 30 days. Neither guide supplies a universal maximum vaccination age, primary/booster exception, minimum animal age or titer threshold.

The embassy now confirms a cargo prior-permission and declaration procedure plus health/vaccination certificates and arrival examination. Confirm current LBVD permit application/issuer, source-country, airport, carrier and additional sanitary conditions. Chip, titer, parasite treatment, certificate endorsement/validity, quarantine and young-animal exceptions remain unresolved. Airport/embassy guidance alone does not approve a journey.
Selected healthy adult private dogs/cats. Accompanied RGN/MDL airport-guide branches and embassy cargo procedures are separate: no seven-day accompanied certificate limit is inherited by cargo. The embassy states prior import permission, declaration, veterinary health/vaccination certificates and arrival examination for cargo, but does not approve a particular origin/flight or establish permit forms, chip, titer or a fixed quarantine period. Apply actual airport, mode and authority conditions; other ports, young animals and commercial movement need separate evidence.
Cargo pet imports require prior import permission presented to Customs and an import declaration form. Arrange permission before dispatch; this is not a permit exemption for personal animals.
