Article 3 exempts personal consignments accompanying their owner, no more than three animals, from article 2’s importing-company registration. Larger personal consignments must be referred to the Directorate of Animal Resources for a consignment-specific decision. This is not an unrestricted three-pet admission guarantee.

Article 4 requires a veterinarian-signed passport/identification document endorsed by the competent veterinary authority at the origin border, recording chip number, species, sex, age and dated vaccinations/treatments. Carry the exporting veterinary authority’s health certificate confirming health/no disease signs and a certificate identifying source and origin. The Lebanese border veterinarian endorses the identification document after required checks and records admission.

The decision requires the electronic chip number in the passport and rabies vaccination one month before arrival in Lebanon. The rabies-free-country/zone clause requires that status to be stated in the health certificate; this US vaccinated-adult checklist does not assume that exception.

The decision specifies parvovirus vaccination for dogs and feline panleukopenia vaccination for cats, plus treatment against worms. It does not specify a universal numeric deworming window. Its special maternal-rabies proof for animals under twelve weeks is outside this adult checklist.

Article 5 describes quarantine of animals lacking a chip or required rabies/parvovirus immunisation; admission follows chipping and required vaccinations/treatments at the owner’s expense. Article 6 also permits quarantine/testing when needed. Neither clause establishes a fixed quarantine period for every compliant pet.
