The baggage concession permits up to two pets for a person transferring residence to India after two continuous years abroad. AQCS lists separate DGFT-licence and re-import procedures; a short visit does not automatically qualify for the baggage concession.
The baggage pathway is conditional on transfer of residence. Short visits and re-imports follow separate AQCS branches. This page does not establish quarantine duration or a complete vaccination schedule.

For the baggage pathway, obtain the origin country’s official health certificate and certified vaccination records. The owner’s name must match the passenger ticket; the certificate must show the owner’s origin and destination addresses. Follow the AQCS advance-NOC process for the applicable branch.
