Use APHIS Form 7001 for US-origin personal dogs/cats, issued by a USDA-accredited veterinarian and endorsed by APHIS within ten days of departure. Carry the ink-signed, embossed endorsed original. The Algeria-specific ten-day limit controls this route, rather than the generic form’s thirty-day wording.
Selected official requirements for personal pet dogs/cats exported from the United States. These are entry conditions, not airline acceptance. Only healthy adult, non-pregnant, vaccinated personal pets are considered here. Other origins, breeding, transit, young animals and permit-specific conditions need separate checks. Confirm all requirements with the issuing veterinarian and destination authority.

Keep rabies vaccination current and carry a copy of the current vaccination certificate with the animals. The country page does not give a numeric post-vaccination waiting period; do not substitute a neighbouring country’s interval.

Deworm pets before export. APHIS does not specify a product or numeric treatment window on this page; have the certifying veterinarian document the treatment accepted for the journey.
