Live-animal guidance requires fitness, an IATA crate, identification, health/vaccination records and destination permits; dogs/cats need chip/identification card and a veterinary origin certificate. CITES applies only where relevant. Coordinate with sales before handing over any animal.
Selected official conditions only, for the operating airline and the direction, aircraft, service and dates stated in each rule. A mode tab may contain a prohibition or unresolved condition; it does not grant carriage. Obtain actual pet space approval and origin/transit/destination clearance separately. Assistance animals, commercial movement and unlisted services need separate assessment.

The English special-cargo page also says unaccompanied air-waybill live-animal transport is prohibited, without clear service scope/direction. This conflict does not establish cabin, checked or independent-cargo acceptance. Confirm with Iran Air.
