Ordinary dog/cat service is domestic checked hold only, no cabin. Domestic flights must be direct without transit/aircraft change and no more than two hours; Denpasar excluded. International flights refuse ordinary mammal pets as checked baggage. The page also cites a 2009 Riau rabies notice for Batam/Tanjungpinang entry; confirm current local acceptance rather than treating its citation as newly verified government law.

Domestic combined maximum 32 kg; heavier animals require separate cargo arrangements without a guarantee of service. Provide your own locked, leak-proof, ventilated crate with movement room; airline supplies none. Counter at least one hour ahead. Pet+crate+food is charged as excess baggage with a minimum five-kg charge, outside free allowance.
