Ordinary dogs/cats: pet+container ≤10 kg, one cabin pet per passenger. Normally older than four months; the domestic Colombia exception accepts older than two months with age-appropriate vaccination. Cabin service is unavailable in 787 Business; confirm the exact route.

Flexible under-seat container 56 cm long×36 wide×25 high, allowing standing, turning and natural movement without touching the roof/walls. Animal stays inside throughout. The official dimensions are carrier dimensions, not the animal's size.

Request at least 48 hours before departure and confirm space. Carry the printed cabin/hold pet form, vaccination record and veterinary health inspection certificate with professional registration details; validity depends on destination. Connecting/codeshare partners may not offer the service.

The general hold section states a 70 kg combined maximum and rigid fiberglass/metal/plastic kennels; non-ventilated holds cannot carry pets. Short-nosed dogs/cats and crosses are excluded from hold carriage. Listed dangerous dogs require specific crate/muzzle and destination acceptance; consult the official lists.

For ventilated 32 S aircraft the page gives both 50 kg and 70 kg-per-pet wording. Confirm the actual flight limit with Avianca; do not assume 70 kg applies to that aircraft or to every destination.

Ordinary live animals are not transported to Galapagos; UK pets need declared cargo. Aruba/Curaçao are restricted to listed relocation/resident-return cases with authority approval.
