Dogs/cats in cabin: pet+carrier ≤7 kg; one carrier per adult, normally one animal. At most one cabin pet and two checked pets per adult, subject to capacity and approved sharing exceptions. Children cannot carry cabin pets.

Cabin carrier: length 45×width 32×height 21 cm, fits under the seat. Soft height can reach 26 cm only if compressed to ≤21 cm; framed rigid carriers remain ≤21 cm. Secure, waterproof and ventilated with room to move; pet stays inside, only water in flight. Business seating has special placement rules.

Hold: combined weight ≤45 kg, sum of dimensions ≤285 cm and height ≤84 cm. Some destinations limit weight to 32 kg; international A 321 flights do not accept checked pets. The aircraft/route and any change of aircraft can prevent transport.

Obtain approval at least 24 hours before domestic departure or 48 hours before international departure, counting business days and excluding weekends/holidays. Prepare health/rabies/quarantine documents and pay a separate pet fee regardless of free baggage allowance; confirm exact route and applicable tariff.

Listed short-nosed dogs and cats are not transported as checked baggage, a restriction stated from July 1,2019. Verify the official breed list and destination restrictions. US-bound dogs need the separate CDC requirements, including at least six months of age; this is not a blanket minimum for all routes.

The published pet table separates total weight ≤32 kg and >32–45 kg: domestic KRW 30,000/60,000; listed Japan/China/Taiwan/Hong Kong/Mongolia KRW 140,000/290,000; other Asia including Guam/Saipan 210,000/440,000; USA/Europe/Oceania 290,000/590,000. Route, local tax and current quote govern; paying does not waive eligibility.
