The official overview describes under-seat cabin carriers, the climate-controlled baggage compartment, and Pet Connect via Alaska/Hawaiian Air Cargo for animals without an accompanying passenger. Review the applicable pet policy, book the passenger ticket, then contact Alaska by chat or telephone to reserve pet space. Cabin and baggage-compartment capacity is subject to availability; baggage carriage also has breed, date and fleet restrictions.

Alaska/Hawaiian do not transfer baggage-compartment pets to other airlines. Claim and recheck the pet with the connecting carrier and contact that airline directly about pet space, fees and requirements.
